First of all Akatsukiryu is NOT a boosting guild. Respect that we have higher level members but they are not here to boost you in instances, they are here as you are, to play the game and enjoy it. If they wish to boost they will say on guild chat, but whispeing a player and asking for a boost is not nice. Ask in guild chat once, if you get a responce then great. If not, respect that and move on. Repeatedly asking will be considered spam and as our rules on spam state, this will result in a kick. Please respect your fellow members wishes.
(Boosting is not ideal as you will never learn to play your characters that way, we do not mind helping out when we can but we arrange guild runs for a reason. Register to the forum to see arranged guild runs or download Guild Calender from our addons page on the forum as we use both to help you)
Akatsukiryu members are at all times expected to act polite and nice towards all other players.
We will not tolerate begging, not towards our members or other players in the game. Most players need their money and grind it themselves, so shall we.
Spamming the guild chat is not allowed and CAPS should be kept to a minimum. They are regarded as shouting and very rude.
Continuous use of bad and obscene language on guild chat is not acceptable.
Ninja looting and destroying groups on purpose will not be tolerated and will lead to absolute and immediate dismissal from the guild.
Leaving a party in the middle of an instance is not acceptable. We do understand that certain matters may occur and if they do, please tell the party leader what has happened and, if possible, find a replacement.
We do not sell items to members on guild chat. You can of course ask if anyone would like an item for free but keep selling to the /trade channel and Auction House.
New members are invited in game by the Guild Leaders and Officers only. If you have a friend that would like to be invited they must contact either Frosty, Tinizen or Tuke in game, or apply using the forum.
Help is a wonderful thing! Give help when you can and ask for it when you need it. But everyone has the right to turn down the request for help without being considered a selfish or bad player. There are many reasons as to why they may say no and you should respect their answer. If no one in the guild is available to help you try asking in the general channel or joining the ‘Looking For Group’ system. Asking repeatedly in guild chat for help when it is clear no one can, will be considered as spamming.
If there are issues between guild members, don't argue about it in the guild chat.
Deal with it by whispering or, if necessary, ask an officer or Guild Leader to help sort out the problem. Abusive language on guild chat will not be tolerated.
Be aware that the word of the Guild Leaders and Officers are final. If you have received a clear warning and continue to break the rules you will be removed from the guild and Black Listed.
As a final note, it is important that you register to the forum once you are a member. It is good to check the forum regularly for updates. Weekly instance runs will be placed on the forum and no longer on the Guild Message of the Day.
